Hey Pet Society fans!
This is an announcement for everyone who plays our MySpace version of the game!
To assist with the continuing development of Pet Society, the MySpace version of the game will be revisiting some past weeks’ releases temporarily!
What does this mean for you? Well, this Monday you will be taken back to ‘Whether for a Clock or a Shamrock, it is time to shop!’; this means that you will once again be able to purchase the adorable Bulldog Doll that you may have missed as it was very soon after the release of the game on MySpace! In the following weeks, you will have more chances to purchase items that you may have missed, not had enough coins for, or simply would like an extra of (Delicious Pie anyone?)! And, if you feel like you have not missed a thing, this is a great chance to save up some coins to purchase some of the more expensive items in the standard shops that you might not have been able to save for until now! 😉
Additionally, the launch collection will remain available for the entirety of this rotation period! 🙂
However, it also means that any new releases from this coming Monday onwards will not be available in MySpace just yet, and any new mysterious items will also not be available in the MySpace version yet (mysterious items from ‘Raining on “?”’s Parade’ and earlier will be available throughout this phase though :)).
We hope you and your pet will enjoy this chance to re-discover Pet Society MySpace history and make the most of this opportunity to collect some items that you may have missed!

Pet Society was launched on Facebook about 1 year ago, therefore there is no Launch Collection available 🙂 On MySpace, Pet Society has not been live for that long.

Crap. I just spent too much on a Bulldog in the trading forums; I wish I had known it was coming back to shops a few days ago. 😦
This sucks! MySpace won’t be getting ANY NEW ITEMS?? That’s not fair. I don’t care about old stuff, I look forward to the new stuff. We won’t even get new Mysterious Items to look forward to either? I’m not going to play Pet Society until this stupid phase is over.
How can anyone be happy about the fact that we’re not going to be getting any new items while Facebook is? I hate this. 😦

wooo i just make a myspace well i wanted to know if the pet society is difrent there and it is completely bizarre i mean u can actually buy a pink jello for like 300 coins or a piggy a cats iron stove or a mirrow from the stooreeeee when in facebook forums they are worth like a million coins no kiding they are too expensive i hope fb get those items back to the store i mean they’re too nice and greedy that have them sell it to a ridiculos prize and u cant affort them on forums unles u well u know …

Please do it on facebook to 😮 There are far more players on FB than on MS. Also on the forums there are a lot of hackers, who got their items by hacking. If we would be able to buy these items, we won’t have to buy them from hackers, and so their game of being the best and cheating will be over;)

wth? why would us myspacers want old items on pet society? we want and crave the NEW stuff!! I just sold my furniture to buy mystery toys and now the Fairy Tale toy machine is gone and there are no sofas available in the shops…unless i want the standard orange one. 😦 That’s lame!

how about only re-releasing TWS items?
I mean, for this to be a positive experience, we should still have access to EVERYTHING that was available before the freeze. This way, it’s actually special every Monday when “new” items are being released instead of feeling gipped, especially when it’s only items that we don’t care for that are being released.

don’t be jealous, facebook users! it’s really not great at all. we have also LOST every item (in stores-they still appear in our homes if we previously had them) as though we are starting the entire game over from St. Patrick’s Day. You never know how many items have been released since then until they’re gone.. and you have to wait for them all over again- this time knowing what you’re missing.

Temporarily? Just how long is temporarily? I just saved up for a few big items that I wanted badly, and they are gone! Am I going to have to wait 2 months before they come back!? Our Gadget shop is pretty much bare, and other stores don’t have much to choose from. Why didn’t you just leave the things that were there up for awhile, then add a few old things. Why did you have to totally rewind? It’s really not fair when you can tell sometimes that FB is a priority over MS users. We get old stuff and they get new stuff and features? I think that we should have our own feedback and suggestions area. It seems like FB and MS, are really separate anyway. We should be able to give our feedback in a separate place where we won’t be drowned out or ignored, and we will be heard. Can you give us MS users a timeline as to when we will get new things? and the stuff back that was there last week? What exactly is going on? Are we going to get new things and stores to visit? I was going to purchase more coins…. won’t be doing that I guess until there is stuff worth buying. JMO…. Not a Happy Camper. Grrrr

In a way this kinda ticks me off because some of the new items that were in the stores have disappeared right when I was going to purchase them!! So now Im wondering if they will be back? Because now there is hardly anything to choose from out of the kitchen items, you cant make a half way decent kitchen now! The new items that were released were only on the shelves for 1 week!! WTF?!! I am definitely not happy!! I dont care about the old stuff, that is why there is such a thing called trading!! There is always someone selling something that you dont have!! The new items should have been left right where they were, they didnt have to take them away! I dont want to go to FB to play PS because it runs like crap there, its slower and my computer crashes every time I go there to play it, I would rather play on MS!

I think this is the WORST idea ever!!! Especially the fact that even the mystery box items wont be new! I dont care about the older items, and as I’ve read in previous posts neither does anybody else. We look forward to seeing NEW items!! I used to play PS on my facebook before i erased my facebook .. so seeing old items is just a complete bummer and a drag!!! I want NEW NEW NEW stuff !!! Please reconsider your choice to live in the past!

I hope they dont do the launch on facebook. I realize there are hackers on facebook trading forums but Im not a hacker and I do have rare items. I sell them for coins when I need them and if all of my rare items became nonrare Id never make any coins and the game would be kinda boring for me!
I do miss seeing new items on myspace every week tho. I already have everything that keeps coming on so I havent been playing on myspace much lately

This isn’t very fair. Why make it a priority to put in a relaunch of past features when MySpace PS users don’t even have the new features that Facebook PS users have? I tried the app on Facebook and Facebook PS users are really lucky to have all those new features. It’s so much better than on Myspace, and now that this relaunch is being put into Myspace, Myspace users are not going to be able to have any new features for awhile??? Not cool.

I’m out….this is the 2nd time to rewind, its no fun to keep going back, the word Temporary means months. i love rewinds. i joined myspace just so i could get a chance to decorate the rooms with things i like that’s impossible to get in facebook. i really wish that we could have some special weeks in the future where we can bring back some of the old items. especially the halloween ones! the cobwebs and awesome scary decor would have gone so well with this week’s harry potter items! i mean i really dont care how much i had spent on trading for the feather headdress+mask, i just want a chance to decorate my pets house as i imagine! thanks!!

What is the purpose of the rewind anyway when they havent even brought out the items from christmas or halloween 2008? I have seen christmas items that look really neat that I would love to have but they didnt bring them out! There was a pink christmas tree and a regular christmas tree and some beautiful x-mas paintings and decorations that you can put on the trees, SO WHERE ARE THOSE ITEMS? Thats the purpose of the rewind right? The reason I know this is because I have talked to people on FB PS who have those items. If you’re gonna do a rewind, DO IT RIGHT or DON’T DO IT AT ALL!!!!!! And……..you better not rewind FB PS!! It has gone too far to rewind now!!!

I have a Myspace Pet Society (Two Actually) And Three Of Them On Facebook… I Was Wondering When This Whole Coming Out With Old Stuff Is Going To Be Over, It Wasn’t Bad At First Because Obviously New People Or People Who Didn’t Have Enough Money At The Time Missed Out On Things But Now I’m Just Waiting For One Bed To Come Back out That Was Like Black And White Maybe … I don’t remember anymore but it was one of the items that comes out for just that week and then goes away, in The Luxury Section. Other Than That I don’t care much about anything else and I really really want new items… Facebook has fishing and a garden now, it’s so much better on their than on myspace and Myspace one has been doing these old items for a while now. So let me know if its ever going to start adding new things and/or the newer features Thanx.

It would be so cool if we got last year’s Halloween and Christmas items, because they weren’t in the rewind, and 80% of players started playing after holidays, and it says they might me available at some point in the future, well, this is a nice opportunity to prove that this phrase isn’t a lie.

I can understand that the “rewind” has some benefits but as we all know it has some cons. The biggest con is that because of this rewind we are loosing out on new developments that can and will keep people more interested in the game. Whether it is to catch Myspace up with Facebook on their additional features or coming out with new unique features for Myspace. Simply put, it is getting boring to just collect coins and spend with an occassional visit to the stadium. We need more options.

I do have to say that I’m really getting fed up with Pet Society on MySpace and not allowing us to have cool items like that on facebook. Here we are back to the same crap as a few months ago with a lame excuse its for the better when it’s not. By the time you guys go back again I can have everything I supposedly missed out on. What I missed out on is the cool stuff you have on Facebook and I don’t see MySpace Pet Society moving forward any..only back. I got alot of people playing this app on MySPace and raved about it. I’m not raving anymore. Get us some new stuff already. Our pets got no Christmas or Halloween and that bites.

If you can’t support the myspace pet society, maybe you should do away with it? It’s not fair to let us sit and stew for months on end, promising to stop the rewind. It makes us not want to play the game at all, myspace OR facebook.

I have been a member since PS began… quite frankly the rewind has not been TEMPORARY. It was a bad investment on my part and for many others. Like with most businesses the consumer is left with the LET DOWN.

You know guys ,i used to curse at people who used hacks ,because they disrupt the curency system,and make once rare and valuble items,plentyfull and of less worth,but when you as a company show so little regard for your costomers as playfish has with myspace users,then why should we care about you.youve made paying costomers feel like they are being forced to dump their accounts on myspace and move to facebook,and take a loss with the moneys they put into the myspace games.and those who have done so,make up the diference of their loss purchased items from hack users,or just install the hack themselves.if you want to be respected as a company,show your costomers respect.BE HONEST AND QUIT JERKING MYSPACE USERS AROUND,
